Advanced Monolythic Ceramics receives Raytheon Excellence Award

Olean, NY, (May 05, 2010) – Advanced Monolythic Ceramics (AMC) was recognized for its quality and performance by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems. AMC received the Supplier Excellence 4-Star Award at a ceremony held at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA on March 02, 2010. Accepting the award on behalf of AMC were Mr. Phu Luu, President, and Mr. David Du Pre’, Sales Manager.
Raytheon recognizes its suppliers based on three important factors: on-time delivery measures, sustained performance on quality and commitment to continuous process and quality improvement. Raytheon recognized less than 1% of its suppliers for this award and AMC was the only capacitor producer to be part of that group. AMC advanced products are utilized in many Raytheon platforms including the Zumwalt-Class Destroyer and Patriot Missile Air Defense System. In Europe, AMC has been engaged with Raytheon since 2002, supporting several of their development and production programs.

“Our proprietary capacitor products provide enhanced systems capability to the American Warfighter” said AMC/Johanson Chairman Eric Johanson. “These devices must operate under extreme conditions, and must execute flawlessly. We are proud to contribute to the mission effectiveness of our troops, and of those of our allies.”
AMC, a leading supplier of ceramic planar array and switch-mode capacitors, has served diversified segments, including Aerospace, Medical, Military, Industrial, and Communication industries since 1994.
